Our client is a top 200 law firm in the UK with a strong reputation for delivering high quality legal services, combined with a personal and pragmatic approach to complex legal problems. They have around 120 staff, based across three established offices in London and Cambridgeshire.
With 17 employment lawyers, including specialists in pensions and data privacy and a dedicated senior professional support lawyer, the team is one of the largest in the firm and a key priority in the overall growth strategy of the firm.
In addition, there will be opportunities to work alongside their strong and long-established Wealth Presentation team, applying for Tier 1 investor visas and serving the personal immigration needs of high net worth individuals.
The team regularly assists organisations in applying for their sponsorship licences, supports visa applications (such as entry clearance, leave to remain and indefinite leave to remain) and manages clients’ SMS immigration systems on a day-to-day basis on their behalf. We also complete audits to test and ensure compliance.
As an integral part of Greenwoods GRM Employment Department, they understand the interplay between employment and immigration issues such as avoiding discrimination claims, termination of illegal employment and drafting employment contracts tailored to foreign workers.
They are looking for a senior lawyer (or possibly a small team) with a track record in working on complex, corporate immigration matters to take a lead role in developing this growing practice area.

The role can be based in their London or Cambridgeshire offices with flexibility to work from home.
Our emphasis is on a candidate who is able to work independently on fee earning and business development and who will take the lead on developing initiatives in conjunction with the Business Development Director and Partners in our Employment and Wealth Preservation Departments to grow this key practice area. You will ideally have 7+ years PQE.
