The Firm
Our client is a progressive Law Firm with offices in Hertfordshire and London and are now looking to recruit Associates for both offices with strong technical backgrounds, good commercial awareness, and wide-ranging transactional experience.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding Corporate and Commercial team which typically deals in high value corporate transactions with particular growth in M&A transactions in the insurance industry and in corporate lending. You would be joining a friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, supportive, and well-regarded team.
You must have a minimum of 2 year’s pqe for their Associate role and 5 year’s pqe for the Senior Associate role.
You will be involved in a broad range of work and will need to demonstrate experience in dealing with acquisitions and disposals and other forms of corporate transactions including management buy-outs and company re-structuring, be proficient in all Companies Act related matters and have experience in drafting shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements and other types of business agreements.
The Candidate
Specific experience in the insurance industry or corporate lending transactions is a positive and you will otherwise have some experience in and be willing to support the wider team in more general commercial drafting and advisory work.
You must be professional, motivated, and enthusiastic and have excellent communication and IT skills. You will be expected to run your own caseload but also be an interactive team member.
