A progressive Top 100 UK law are seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their London office and undertake a wide range of litigation and arbitration matters.
The firm are a progressive Top 100 UK law firm known for their commercial, private client, clinical negligence and personal injury work. They were the winner of the Managing Partners’ Forum ‘Best Managed Firm’ award for 2019. They employ 470 people throughout 5 offices.
An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join their Dispute Resolution team in London. The team undertakes a wide range of litigation and arbitration for domestic as well as international clients.
A number of sector groups are represented within the firm’s Dispute Resolution team including technology and media, banking and financial services, leisure and hospitality and healthcare. The team acts for a wide range of clients including a number of household names and works closely with teams.
The newest team member will be encouraged to take individual responsibility to develop in a challenging environment covering a number of technical disciplines. They will be fully supported by colleagues in a non-hierarchical environment, assisted by close communication between fee earners and support staff. They take a holistic approach to career development so there will be opportunities to develop management and business development skills as well as technical prowess.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with previous experience within commercial and civil litigation. You must have a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and court practice, be a self-starter with good technical litigation skills, be a team player with a desire to carry out/track record in business development and have a desire to develop supervisory/management skills.
