    Media Litigation Solicitor - London

    Job Description

    One of the UK’s leading law firms for the media, technology, and creative industries is now seeking a Media Litigation Solicitor to join their team in London.

    Alongside their commercial/IP lawyers, they also have a highly experienced team of litigators, corporate and employment lawyers adept at dealing with the diverse spectrum of challenges that can face their clients. Significantly, in 2016, they merged with a specialist media litigation firm.

    The Team

    From breaches of contract to the infringement of intellectual property rights or threats to a client’s image, brand, or reputation, the team handles all types of disputes and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading firms for contentious media and entertainment work.

    The Opportunity

    They are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic litigation lawyer to join their highly regarded Dispute Resolution team.

    The Candidate

    You should have 3-5 years’ private practice or in-house experience of IP and/or commercial litigation, preferably (but not necessarily) within the media and entertainment sector. There are also opportunities to be involved in publication matters (defamation and privacy), rights clearance, and regulatory compliance and enforcement (including Ofcom Code, data protection, and marketing and advertising).

    You will be expected to be capable of running your own cases under supervision and thrive on being an important part of a dynamic and varied dispute resolution practice.
