    Newly Qualified Corporate ECM and M&A Solicitor - London

    Job Description

    Hunters Legal currently has an exciting opportunity for an NQ Corporate Solicitor to join a Top 20 UK law firm in London, specialising in ECM and M&A.

    The Team

    Internationally the firm are specialists in cross-border transactions with a team covering 16 jurisdictions. As well as technical excellence, their strengths are teamwork, the way they share local knowledge and how they understand cultural differences – all key factors that influence the successful outcome of any cross-border transaction.

    They regularly advise on eye-catching deals – like Babylon Health's record-breaking USD550 million expansion into the US and Asia, Vivion Investments' EUR1 billion bond issuance and complex restructuring (one of the biggest deals of its kind in the property sector), Affirma Capital on its MBO of Standard Chartered's private equity business, or Inflexion on its backing of the management buyout of Dutch IT outsourcing training business Calco Group BV.

    The Role

    The firm is seeking an NQ Corporate Solicitor to join the team in London and specialise in M&A and ECM.

    The Candidate

    Key Skills & Experience:

    • Relevant experience and a keen interest in corporate law
    • Strong academic record
    • Good legal skills including attention to detail in drafting and a genuine interest in the needs of the client
    • An ability to think laterally and identify related issues and problems
    • A confident and professional manner with strong communication skills
