    Private Client and Tax Solicitor Associate - London

    Job Description

    As a result of continued growth, a leading private client firm is looking for a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Associate to join their London office and be part of their highly successful team.

    Our client is a highly successful London law firm with a heritage spanning almost 300 years advising wealthy families, property investors, landed estates, entrepreneurs and family businesses.

    The Firm operates through five departments - private wealth, property, corporate, litigation and family – and has a strong focus on key sectors including Arts and Luxury assets.

    The Team

    The team is recognised as being one of the leading Private Client firms in the country. They have a long history of advising private clients, both UK and international, and this is a core part of their business. The Private Client and Tax Department advise clients with a diverse asset base, including international businesses, luxury assets (art, yachts, aircraft, and classic cars) and traditional landed estates.

    They specialise in giving proactive and estate planning, trusts, commercial and wealth protection advice that helps their clients preserve and enhance their wealth, whilst also ensuring compliance and reputational integrity. Their focus is on providing a very personal service to clients with complex needs.

    The Role

    As a result of continued growth, they are looking for a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Associate to join their London office and be part of a friendly, busy, and highly successful team. They seek candidates who have trained at reputable City or West End Firms who have 3 - 5 years of experience in a private client or tax department. Your experience must include advice on UK taxation, particularly matters with a cross-border and international element, as well as complex wealth holding and family office structures. Any knowledge and experience of trusts and wealth structures in other jurisdictions in both common and case law is preferable.

    The Candidate

    The successful candidate will advise on the full spectrum of tax planning for ultra-high net worth individuals and trustees, family offices, landed estates, family businesses, entrepreneurs and resident/non-resident, and domiciled/non-domiciled clients.
