A top-50 law firm in London is seeking a Private Client and Tax solicitor to join their highly renowned Private Wealth team. You will engage in all types of private client advisory and implementation work, with a focus on international and cross border tax and estate planning.

The Team
Private Wealth has always been an integral part of the firm and forms part of a wider Tax and Private Wealth practice. The team includes 6 partners based across their UK and international offices.
The group advises a wide range of individuals and families, family offices, wealthy families and private wealth advisors on matters involving tax, wealth planning, structuring and philanthropy as well as the more traditional areas of private wealth.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to work directly with their Private Wealth Partners to provide a first class service to clients and assist in the future development of the group.
They are looking for a lawyer to join their London team who act for HNWIs, family offices, trustees and organisations servicing the private wealth sector both in the UK and internationally. The team acts for clients with widespread multi-jurisdictional elements to their business and personal affairs.
The role will involve all types of private client advisory and implementation work, with a focus on international and cross border tax and estate planning.

The Firm has an opening for a first rate Employment lawyer. Experience, which should include a mix of contentious, advisory and transactional work, gained within a top tier firm is preferred. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 year post qualification experience (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day general management of the clients’ affairs, and in most cases will act as a primary point of contact for the client.
Working on both Deputyships and Personal Injury Trusts, the successful candidate will be required to be aware of the full details of the clients’ affairs and ensure compliance with the OPG Deputyship Standards in all general management tasks. They will have an allocated case load of clients with the support of a senior member of the team and a paralegal and will be expected to undertake all or any of the following tasks: Drafting routine and non-routine applications to the Court of Protection with accompanying documentation including Witness Statements;
Supporting with the preparation of Expert Witness Statements;
Assisting with the preparation of OPG Reports;
Assisting senior members of the team with discrete tasks as required;
Running their own case load with training and supervision
Taking a role in the implementation of policies and processes relating to the team;
