Hunters Legal is seeking an Employment Lawyer for a leading London based firm.
Our client is a leading, long-established, multi-disciplinary practice with two offices situated in London. The firm has received recognition for excellence in industry standards and is the proud holder of several accreditations.
The firm is now seeking an experienced full-time employment law solicitor. The ideal candidate will have good academics, be ambitious and be willing to work initially on both non-contentious and contentious matters, the latter for respondents and applicants. However, you will be encouraged to develop your own areas of interest and specialisms.
You will work with the Head of Department and one other solicitor to continue to build on the firm’s existing client base with a view to increasing the firm’s reputation for employment law work. A following, whilst welcome, is not essential. Potential client contacts will be an advantage. You will be involved in the firm’s marketing and forthcoming webinar programmes.
There are considerable opportunities for cross-selling to the firm’s other clients. Marketing is supported by the firm’s in-house Business Development Manager.
Salary will be set according to experience and there is a generous bonus scheme for those who exceed 3 times salary. Holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays.
The firm is also consulting on post-covid flexible working arrangements and is likely that a mix of working in the office and out of the office will be agreed upon and formalised shortly, with clients’ needs always paramount.
