    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity for two Residential Property Paralegals to join a highly renowned firm in Northamptonshire and work within a busy team.

    The Firm

    The firm have been the Northamptonshire Law Society Large Law Firm of The Year multiple times; shortlisted for the UK Law Society ‘Excellence’ awards several times and achieved 2 “Highly Commended” awards; have a number of teams and lawyers in the Legal 500 and are regularly called upon by local media to give insightful commentary regarding important legal matters.

    The Role

    Two full-time experienced paralegals are required for the busy Residential Conveyancing teams based at their Northamptonshire offices.

    These are exciting opportunities, and the successful applicants will have proven experience of working within a busy residential property team and have full knowledge of dealing with sale, purchase, re-mortgage, and transfer of equity matters, including new build and leasehold.

    These are full and busy roles and will include the following:

    • Supporting the Team Leader
    • Managing your own caseload under supervision
    • Title checking, raising and reviewing enquires and reporting
    • Ordering and checking routine property searches
    • Checking mortgage offers
    • Dealing directly with clients, estate agents and lenders; Helping out other members of the team whenever possible
    • Post completion

    The Candidate

    As an experienced paralegal, you should be confident in managing your own caseload, under the supervision of the team leader, developing and managing relationships with both clients and estate agents, be IT literate and committed with previous working knowledge of using case management systems.

    Excellent business development skills are desirable as well as strong organisational skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Proven Residential Conveyancing experience and the ability to work within a busy team are essential.
