The Banking practice advises on a wide spectrum of financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers, with a focus on real estate finance and cross-team collaboration. Clients include financial institutions, private equity investors, corporate borrowers, and private individuals. The team is small but growing, offering close partner contact and excellent client exposure, supporting development and career progression.

Role Overview:

The Associate will manage a varied workload, including finance transactions, drafting bespoke documentation, acting as a key client contact, and project-managing deals. The role provides the opportunity to build expertise across high-value banking matters within a thriving practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, high-level legal advice on a range of banking matters.
  • Act as day-to-day contact for clients, managing ongoing and new matters.
  • Contribute to business development by promoting the firm’s work to clients.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a leading banking practice with exposure to finance transactions.
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Strong understanding of banking and finance law with commercial awareness.
  • Excellent client relationship and business development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
