Employment Associate/Senior Associate - Top 50 Law Firm

Overview 

A Top 50 Law Firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its national Employment team. The successful candidate will work with a high quality client portfolio across sectors including logistics, mobility, technology and AI, energy and infrastructure, living, and retail. The role offers significant responsibility, opportunities for client engagement and involvement in the development of key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Work
  • Advise employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters.
  • Manage complex employment tribunal litigation and support senior level corporate transactions.
  • Deliver pragmatic, timely and commercially focused advice to a diverse client base.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the overall client experience.
• Team Leadership and Development
  • Mentor, support and develop junior lawyers within the team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the regional and national Employment team.
• Business Development
  • Participate in client development initiatives, sector focused activities and wider BD projects.
  • Take ownership of client and internal initiatives where appropriate.

The Employment team forms part of a wider national People and Reward group, which includes employment, immigration and pensions specialists. The team is recognised for high quality service and practical advice and supports a range of well regarded employer clients.

This role sits within the South region, with the option to be based in Milton Keynes or Thames Valley.
