Hunters Legal is working with a Leading Law Firm to recruit an Associate into its highly regarded Family team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Family Solicitor seeking exposure to complex, high-profile work within a supportive and award-winning team.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and senior colleagues across a broad range of family law matters, advising clients through some of the most significant personal and financial decisions of their lives.
The role offers exposure to:
- Financial remedy proceedings involving high-value and complex assets.
- Private children matters, including residence, contact and specific issue applications.
- Cross-border family disputes and international children matters.
- Non-court dispute resolution, including negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
- High net worth and ultra high net worth private client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad range of family law matters.
- Manage matters from instruction through to conclusion under appropriate supervision.
- Conduct financial remedy and private children proceedings.
- Prepare witness statements, court documentation and case bundles.
- Draft instructions to counsel and expert witnesses.
- Liaise with clients, barristers, experts and other professional advisers.
- Support Partners and senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters.
- Maintain accurate file management, time recording and billing.
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal procedures.
- Participate in business development initiatives, networking events, seminars and marketing activities, including the preparation of articles and thought leadership content.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience handling a broad range of family law matters, including financial and children work.
- Exposure to contested proceedings and dispute resolution.
- Strong drafting, analytical and advocacy support skills.
- The ability to communicate complex legal issues in a clear, practical and commercial manner.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to client service.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Commercial awareness with an interest in contributing to business development.
