The Team

The Family Group advises a broad and sophisticated mix of clients, including A list talent, high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, finance professionals and individuals with complex international interests. The team acts on the full range of private family law matters, including:

  • Pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements.
  • Financial claims arising from divorce.
  • Complex financial remedies involving offshore assets, trusts and corporate structures.
  • Financial provision for children.
  • Private law children matters, both domestic and international.
  • Cohabitation issues, separation agreements and disputes.

The team is known for its discretion, technical strength and ability to manage sensitive, reputation critical matters.

The Role

The firm is seeking a Family Associate to join its market leading Family Group. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with high profile and high net worth clients on complex and often high value matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on all areas of private family law, with a strong emphasis on financial remedy work.
  • Managing cases involving international assets, multi jurisdictional considerations and sophisticated financial structures.
  • Preparing and negotiating nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
  • Handling children matters, including residence, contact and international arrangements.
  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, statements and correspondence.
  • Managing client relationships with sensitivity, professionalism and discretion.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm, including private client, corporate, reputation protection and dispute resolution teams where relevant.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and participating in team training sessions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong academic background and high quality family law training.
  • Experience handling a diverse caseload that includes financial remedy matters and children issues.
  • Confidence working with sophisticated clients requiring a high standard of service and confidentiality.
  • A proactive, adaptable and commercially aware approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to contribute to a highly respected team.
