Role Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Family Lawyer to join its expanding team in Cambridge and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse and high-quality caseload of family law matters, delivering strategic, empathetic advice while maintaining the highest standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad range of family law matters including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.
- Providing clear, strategic and commercially sound legal advice tailored to clients’ individual circumstances.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, court applications, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings where required.
- Maintaining strong client relationships through professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the firm.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in family law.
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of private family matters.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with excellent organisational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
- Involvement in networking or business development initiatives.
- Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods.
