Hunters Legal is delighted to be exclusively working with a well-established and growing regional law firm to recruit a Senior Associate for its Family Law Team, based in Swindon. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced and driven associate who is passionate about delivering high-quality legal services while playing a key role in expanding the firm’s family law presence in the region. The position offers scope for career progression, strong peer support, and the chance to work within a collaborative and values-led environment.

The Role:

  • Divorce, separation, financial remedy, and private children law matters.
  • Drafting pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
  • Representing clients in court hearings and negotiations.
  • Providing tailored, empathetic, and commercially sound advice.
  • Contributing to business development activities and raising the team’s profile in the local market.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure excellent client service delivery.

The ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years’ in family law.
  • A demonstrable track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • The ability to handle complex and sensitive matters with confidence and professionalism.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong advocacy skills and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
