Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor to join an award-winning firm in London and work on a varied and interesting caseload.

The Firm

Our client is an award-winning legal services and independent financial advice firm with offices in Hertfordshire and London. Their teams are consistently recognised in the prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers UK directories, placing them in the elite of firms in the UK.

The Opportunity

The team is now looking to recruit an Associate with a strong technical background, good commercial awareness, and wide-ranging experience of dealing with a contentious caseload of predominantly property disputes. The position will be based in their London office.

As a member of the team, you will also have a chance to represent clients in relation commercial disputes including contract claims, shareholder and director disputes, professional negligence claims, and insolvency litigation. You will also be familiar with different forms of ADR and be willing to conduct your own advocacy where appropriate.

The Candidate

The right candidate will have experience in managing their own caseload under appropriate supervision of a number of areas of property litigation including dilapidations, 1954 Act renewals, rent reviews, leasehold enfranchisement, possession claims as well as real property disputes including those relating to rights of way, adverse possession.

You must be professional, motivated, and enthusiastic and have excellent communication and IT skills. You will be an interactive team member as well as being involved in business development and the marketing of the team including delivering seminars, writing articles, and attending networking events.
