Planning Solicitor - 10 month FTC - London

A standout opportunity for a Planning Solicitor to work at a highly renowned law firm in the West End on a 10 month fixed term contract.

The Firm

Our client is a West End based London law firm which delivers exceptional legal results to its clients who are principally from the real estate and private wealth sectors. The firm has 61 partners and over 300 members of staff.

The Team

Their Planning team has a strong reputation within the real estate market both as technical experts, and for building strong and lasting relationships.

Their clients are diverse. A typical day might involve advising the developers of the largest planning application in London ever (a development of over 15,000 residential units); helping a homeowner in Kensington and Chelsea overcome local objections; and anything in between.

The firm’s clients include:

• property developers of all sizes (both in Central London, and across England and Wales)
• institutional investors
• those affected by compulsory purchase, whether the acquiring authority or displaced occupiers
• local authorities
• leisure, retail and restaurant occupiers and developers
• private individuals

The Role

The firm would now like to recruit a planning solicitor with ideally 2 - 3 years PQE to join their Planning department. This role is a 10 month fixed term contract.

The firm needs a solicitor with all round knowledge of planning and highways law, especially in relation to s106 & s278 agreements and due diligence.
