Role Overview
The successful candidate will join a growing property litigation team, managing and supporting a diverse caseload that includes landlord and tenant disputes, boundary and easement issues, and property-related contract disagreements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Property Litigation Cases: Handle a broad range of property disputes, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters, easements, and boundary disagreements.
- Client Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients through clear communication and tailored legal advice.
- Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and case assessments to provide strategic guidance and options.
- Document Preparation: Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and court documents to a high standard.
- Case Strategy: Support the team in preparing for hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions, contributing to legal strategy and case direction.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' experience, ideally with exposure to property litigation or general dispute resolution.
- Previous experience in contentious property work at a reputable practice.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first approach.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a busy caseload.
