Hunters Legal is pleased to be working with a leading regional law firm known for its dedication to quality, integrity, and client-focused service in their search for a Corporate Senior Associate to join the team at the firm’s Swindon office.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Corporate Lawyer to join a highly regarded and expanding Corporate Team based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a strong track record of advising on complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity (PE) transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on and managing a broad range of corporate matters, including:

  • Public and private company acquisitions and disposals.
  • Private equity investments and fundraising.
  • Joint ventures and strategic partnership.
  • Management buyouts.
  • Corporate restructures and demergers.
  • Corporate governance issues.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries, from start-ups to established businesses.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of corporate documentation.
  • Managing transactions from inception through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Building and developing strong client relationships through a commercial and solutions-driven approach.
  • Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to team knowledge sharing and development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in corporate law.
  • Strong technical skills with demonstrable experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Commercially astute with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workloads independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive mindset.
  • Willingness to contribute to business development and the wider strategic goals of the team.
