Property (Residential & Commercial) Lawyer - Award Winning Firm
Hunters Legal is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected, award-winning multidisciplinary law firm to recruit a Senior Property Lawyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established property department known for its commitment to excellence and long-standing client relationships. The successful candidate will be joining a firm that serves a diverse client base, including medium-sized businesses, NGOs, public figures, and private individuals.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a dynamic and self-motivated property solicitor seeking to play a key role in the growth and development of an established legal team. The successful candidate will lead a small group of conveyancers and should possess extensive experience in both residential and commercial freehold and leasehold transactions.
While a client following is desirable, it is not essential. The firm is looking for someone who is proactive in marketing, confident in maintaining strong client and referrer relationships, and eager to support wider departmental and firm-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Property Lawyer will manage a varied caseload across both residential and commercial matters, including:
- Sales and purchases
- Mortgages and re-mortgages
- Buy-to-let transactions
- Freehold and leasehold conveyancing
The candidate will also be expected to:
- Deliver exceptional client care and maintain high service standards.
- Provide accurate, commercially sound advice on a range of property matters.
- Develop and grow the property caseload through business development and referrals.
- Draft legal documentation clearly and efficiently.
Candidate Profile
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor
- Broad technical knowledge across the entire property transaction lifecycle.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (desirable).
- Interest and experience in business development.
Essential Skills:
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
